Children are very special, especially those that have the courage to stay in a hospital with someone that they don’t know while mommy and daddy is at home. They require attention, love, care and from time to time we need to encourage them. It is the little cool things that we do that can encourage them and spruce up their day – and at the end help them to have a better day.
Previously at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, the window washers wore costumes like Spiderman and Superman so that the children would get a little excitement even though they are stuck inside. Some have even held puppet shows, played games or bringing a balloon artist to really try to cheer up these kids.
A New Zealand artist found a rather unique way to make these children at hospitals feel SUPER special and cool by giving them… TATTOOS!
